The Department of Lands and Resources and Asset Management oversees the Public Works Department and the Housing Department. As a result of the Maa-nulth First Nations Final Agreement (Treaty) the Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ has control over approximately 250 hectares of former Reserve lands and an additional 5147 hectares of former provincial Crown lands, plus 92 hectares of fee-simple owned lands. There are additional provincial Crown lands identified in the Treaty that Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ may purchase within 15 years of the Treaty Effective Date.
